Situation
PSL is a successful business providing
consultancy and payment processing
services for organisations such as call
centres, mail order, publishers and major
charities. Although experiencing steady
growth with strong customer loyalty, gaining
new business was proving challenging.
Objective
- To assist PSL to overcome the problems
it faced in securing an initial meeting
with buyers.
- To create a planned marketing programme to replace the existing
sporadic activity.
- To assist the M.D. to reflect upon and review his marketing approach.
Action
- The current marketing strategy was reviewed and improvement
opportunities identified.
- A new corporate identity was developed to strengthen the image as a trusted
partner with a high level of professionalism.
- Marketing messages were created to communicate this to the chosen audiences
and a new web site, literature and exhibition stand were developed.
- A marketing communications plan was created including direct mail and
PR.
